Vital Statistics Online Services
You may use this secure, quick and convenient service to complete and submit online orders for birth, marriage and death certificates (see list of who can apply online) for events that have been registered in Newfoundland and Labrador. You must pay the required fees electronically via government's secure online payment system using any of the following payment methods:

Please note Visa Debit Card is not accepted.
Similar to paper orders made by mail or in person, online orders submitted through this service are verified and processed by Registry personnel in accordance with the Vital Statistics Act, 2009.
Using this online service your order can be completed in four easy steps:
Select your certificate type, complete the event details and choose the desired product.
Complete applicant contact information and delivery details.
(Who can order online). Provide information authorizing that you can apply for the requested certificate.
Add your order to the shopping cart, confirm your order, enter payment and obtain your receipt.
To avoid delays it is important that you provide correct and accurate information for all required fields.
Once you have completed your order online, you can check the status of your order using our Online Status Inquiry . Order status information will be available the next business day.
