Birth, Marriage and Death Certificates

You may use this secure, quick and convenient service to complete and submit online orders for birth, marriage and death certificates (see list of who can apply online) opens new window for events that have been registered in Newfoundland and Labrador. Similar to paper orders made by mail or in person, online orders submitted through this service are verified and processed by Registry personnel in accordance with the Vital Statistics Act, 2009.opens new window

Using this online service your order can be completed in four easy steps:

  1. Step 1 Certificate

    Select your certificate type, complete the event details and choose the desired product.

  2. Step 2 Applicant

    Complete applicant contact information and delivery details.

  3. Step 3 Entitlement

    (Who can order online)opens new window. Provide information authorizing that you can apply for the requested certificate.

  4. Step 4 Checkout

    Add your order to the shopping cart, confirm your order, enter payment and obtain your receipt.

To avoid delays it is important that you provide correct and accurate information for all required fields.
